Happiness is a Mixtape…or a Mix CD. Actually I don’t remember making mixtapes as much. It was way too long ago, but I used to love making mix cd’s for friends. I would spend hours selecting the perfect songs, creating the perfect order of those songs and then designing a cool label or packaging. “The Drive Mix” to keep me awake on all the long drives from San Francisco to Monterey. “The Freakin’ Amazing Mix” which probably wasn’t all that amazing. The “Newcastle Pub Mix” of songs I loved while living in England. “The Knockin’ Boots Mix” doesn’t need much of an explanation. “The Lifted Mix” had inspiring and happy songs to get me through the dark or stressful college years. So I’m now inspired to create an updated “Happy” mix CD or playlist. Anyone have any inspiring or happy songs you’d recommend? I have quite a few in mind but would love to find some new music…
