Happiness is persevering in the face of adversity.

Dawn Loggins found herself homeless and parentless at the age of 17. But instead of giving up she took a job at her high school as a janitor and received amazing support from her school and community, offering her places to sleep and basic needs.

She continued to study hard and eventually graduated and accepted to Harvard. What an important story of perseverance and making the most of what she was given. She remained positive and did what was needed to succeed. Her loving community was there to supprt her when her family wasn’t. Dawn is an inspiration.
